the herd is that I am trying to give people an honest approach to fitness and nutrition. In fact, I am not even going to take credit for any of the ideas presented on this website. Nature did all the work and I am just here to help you apply what science has figured out about how our bodies can function optimally.
Helping people transform their bodies is gratifying beyond belief, but getting past people's blocks takes more than just teaching them the facts of fitness and nutrition. For this reason, I began collaborating with psychotherapist, Michelle O'Neill, MA, LCSW to gain more insights about what makes people get discouraged or better yet, get motivated. In fact, Michelle has been behind this entire process of creating and designing this website. She is also the co-author of the Newsletters and Weekly Self-Evaluation Questionnaire that you'll find on this website. Her talents with words and understanding of people combined with my skills and knowledge about fitness and nutrition are bringing fitness training and education to the next level!
The approach that I suggest here is an intellectually-based one. I take the time to painstakingly research (and test) the "cutting edge" knowledge in the Health and Fitness Field, and believe me, it is extensive. I am never complacent nor easily led by flashy gimmicks. In some cases, you will find that research has merely caught up with what many people have been practicing for years, but you will also find on this website information that dispels many diet and exercise myths that have been purpetuated for ages.
Remember, none of what you will see on this website is entirely original or expressed on a whim. It is based on a body of evidence that I gathered from many different highly-respected and "tried and tested" sources that truly respect the body's natural path to wellness. I consider it my pleasure and duty as a fitness professional to bring to you the very best of what's out there, so that you can get the results that you desire.
